C&S Writing Services Interview

By Interviewer at 04/12/09 17:04
Name of your website?

C&S Writing Services

Your name?

Stacy

Your Location (city, etc)

Atlanta

Please give us a short summary of your website?

We specialize in writing resumes for college graduates. We have a complete package that will help our clients get off to a great start and make job searching easier.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

We want to help recent college graduates (or soon to be graduates) get the best start in their new careers!

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

http://www.cswritingservices.com

Recently launched in March of 2009

How did you decide on a name for your website?

It's our business name.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

We have a complete package. We don't just provide resumes, cover letters, etc. we also provide advice and how to prepare for interviews - not just professionally but mentally as well.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

Keep it for income

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

It's a great balance

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I don't think we would change anything at this point.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

We would probably have to hire additional help - but that would be a great problem to have.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

There haven't been any unexpected costs. No real headaches either.

What has been your biggest challenge?

We (the owners) each wrote a book to offer our clients when they purchase a resume package. It was fun but a bit of a challenge to wrie a concise but informative book.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Free internet based advertising.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

There hasn't been any real surprises or anything different than what was expected.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

For a couple of months and we plan to run it indefinitely.

Knowing what we know now - would we still have taken this on?

Definitely! We're learning a lot and having fun - but also we believe our service is going to help our clients!

What is your website address?

C&S Writing Services
