A brand new house and car with a wife and two kids. These realities hit at home, especially when losing one's job becomes the topic of the 'weekly' family meeting. Job loss among even some high profile figures in society is a serious reality that we are facing today. It's ironic to know that even some of the people who may have helped to start up a company, or have their hand in it in some kind of way, could face termination from that very place which they helped to establish.
