But just which social site should you join? There are practically hundreds of them out there, and not everybody has a significant population of future employers. Mashable.com here talks about the ten best social sites for finding a job. The top one? LinkedIn, of course.

People are desperate for jobs. It is not surprising anymore. They are so desperate, that a lot of them submit resumes for positions that are less than desirable. Positions like housekeeping assistants, gas station attendants, and nursing attendants even get hundreds of applications every single day. Most of the applicants are, obviously, not qualified.

There are millions of Americans who are now left jobless by the recession, so it is not any surprise that when an area job fair was opened in Greensboro, hundreds of potential employees flocked to it to hunt for a job.

At least 17 companies were present during the area job fair, among them some corporate giants like Wendy's and Avon.

Europe's biggest airline - Air France-KLM Group will cut 2,000 jobs(two percent of their workforce) after the lower ticket revenues and lesser cargo volumes which brought them to a third quarter loss. The company have already lost 505 million euro net in the quarter ending in December 31 against previous year profit of 139 million euros. More details on the link below.
