Please give us a short summary of your website?

Ransdell Associates is committed to helping you achieve your interpersonal and career goals through our one stop resource web. Our personality typing and career test site offers a number of testing choices designed to assist people with understanding their personality, improving their interpersonal relationships, and maximizing their career opportunities. Feel free to call (603) 767-9587 or email us at sransdell51@hotmail.com in deciding what tests or test packages you should take.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

For many years I have been fascinated by the possibilities of self-discovery one can achieve through directed and focused self-analysis; personality typing tests and career preference tests can help you grow in two of the most important aspects of your life, interpersonal relationships and your relationship with work and career.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

In 2002, and Ransdell Associates is my first web site.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

My middle name is Ransdell. I wished to honor my maternal grandmother who taught me much about how to be independent and committed to a business. Her father was a federal judge and her uncle was a US Senator from Louisiana- 1899 to 1931.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

We have the most comprehensive inventory of Myers-Briggs Tests, Strong Interest Inventory Tests, Combined Reports, and Test Packages available for online testing, and at competitive pricing.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

To continue marketing the site and build up residual income.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

As a self-employed entrepreneur, I will spend much time and capital up-front without initial compensation to make a success of a project.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I have a master plan which has to do with alternative energy and climate change, which I'll put into play when I achieve a certain durable residual income.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes, it's totally scalable.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Development costs of the website exceeded budget. Then , more recently I've needed to take control of the web site from the developer which required that I master web site construction and marketing. This is an open-ended effort.

What has been your biggest challenge?

"Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans". John Lennon

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

In-bound links, fresh content, SEO.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

When you build it they will not necessarily come. One needs to promote and market one's site.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

It's been six years now; 2002 to 2008.

Replace this with a question of your own

What will the next "big thing" be in search engine technology? And how will it affect web site owners?

What is your website address?

Ransdell Associates
